Environment Awareness Programmes

Climate education, tree-planting drives and shelter-belt plantations across our project villages.

Why It Matters

Protecting the resources everyone depends on

We live in the environment and use its resources — air, land and water — to meet our needs. When the pressure we place on those resources exceeds their capacity to recover, it creates lasting environmental degradation. If ground water is drawn beyond its limit of replacement, for instance, it may be lost forever. Protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility, and awareness is where that starts.

  • Climate-change awareness sessions for youth club members
  • School-level competitions on climate change, with prizes for active student and youth participants
  • Periodic distribution of pamphlets on the effects of climate change
